Duane is T. Wilson’s General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Operations and Finance.  As Senior Vice President of Operations and Finance, Duane utilizes his more than a decade of experience in public/private financing and real estate matters to facilitate project financing for master planned and mixed-use communities.

Prior to joining T. Wilson, Duane worked for six years as a land use attorney.  As a land use attorney, Duane focused on development-related issues, which included financing through the use of public improvements districts, tax increment reinvestment zones, municipal management districts, municipal utility districts, and similar special districts throughout Texas.  He also represented landowners on zoning requests, variance and special exception appeals, specific use permits, and annexation requests.

In 2003, Duane earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University.  Following graduation from LSU, Duane worked for Halliburton as an engineer until he began law school in 2010.  He graduated summa cum laude from Thurgood Marshall School of Law (in Houston) in 2013.

In his spare time, Duane enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, cooking, working out, playing golf, and watching the LSU Tigers.
