Zoe Thompson
VP of Operations and Finance
Zoe has over four years of experience facilitating public-private partnerships involving Public Improvement Districts (PIDs), Tax Increment Reinvestment Zones (TIRZ), Municipal Management Districts (MMDs), Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs), and other special districts throughout Texas.
At T. Wilson, Zoe leads initiatives across all facets of the business, collaborating with developers, homebuilders, engineers, city staff, elected officials, and other industry professionals to guide projects from pre-acquisition through completion. Her responsibilities include project feasibility evaluations, financial analysis, managing entitlement strategies, and ensuring the timely and accurate execution of the agreed-upon financing structures.
Before joining T. Wilson, Zoe worked as a special district consultant for a PID Administration firm, representing cities, towns, and counties. She worked closely with municipal consultants to negotiate favorable financing terms and led the assessment processes. Her public-sector experience provides valuable perspective in her current work with developer clients and allows her to align public goals with private development needs and achieve successful outcomes for all stakeholders.
Zoe earned dual B.S. degrees from Clemson University Honors College in Economics and Financial Management, graduating magna cum laude. During her time at Clemson, she studied abroad in New Zealand and interned with an accounting firm in Ireland. Outside of work, Zoe enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and dog, as well as hiking, traveling, and supporting the Clemson Tigers.
